In case of bad weather.....
 
If the race is called of in the morning for bad weather, the event will be postponed to the afternoon and the start of the first race will be at 4.00 pm. Please listen out for announcements at the venue.
 
If the races have to be suspended because of bad weather or lightning, please advise your students and supporters to seek shelter in the building near by and to avoid taking shelter under a tree.
 
If required, students can be housed temporarily in the multipurpose hall next to the stadium which is also the contingency venue for the prize presentation.

Practice Runs - Safety
This is a request by Temasek Polytechnic in the intrest of safety for runners. Teachers in charge and coaches are requested to refrain from using the service road leading from the bridge to enter the stadium (alongside the tennis courts) as a venue for training. Please keep to the left side of this stretch of the route on practice days as there will be vehicles plying the route. We appeal to your cooperation, wisdom and discression on this urgent and important matter.

Runners
1. Please familiarise yourselves with the route to the reporting area before the start of the race (see attached 
    map)
2. Do not use the 'Out of Bounds" area for warm-ups or for access to the Marshals tent for reporting.
3. Drink lots of fluids before and after the race. Water points will be located away for the race route at the
    pump house and after the finish line.  Water coolers are available on the campus grounds especially at  
    the canteens

Student Supporters

1. All student supporters are advised to be in school uniform or approved school attire.
2. All supporters must not interfere or hinder the runners in the competition.
3. School photographers or videographers (students) must confine themselves to the designated area   
     (see diagram for Finish Layout) and must not hinder the progress of the race.
4. If you should have any queries about the race please approach your teachers in charge and not the   
    race organisers.

Parking on Race Day ( See vehicle parking / dropoff map below)

Please note the following arrangements with regards to parking and alighting from buses on the race day.

1.  All parking lots facing the stadium grand stand is reserved for guest, officials and service vehicles only.
2.  The only available car park for this event is the one immediately on the right of the east entrance.
3.  Once the lots are filled, you are advised to use the public lots across the road or those at the 
     
BedokReservoirPark. Please communicate these instructions to the parents of your student athletes
     and supporters.
4. Please do not park elsewhere in the campus as the campus rules apply and you may be 
     inconvenienced by a wheel clamp.
5. Do not park alongside the side of the public roads either as the traffic police might be called.
6. All buses must proceed to the East Entrance, the security  guards will be stationed to direct
    the buses to the bus bay in front of the stadium. The buses will then be directed to turn out safely
    and then leave the venue immediately (no waiting allowed).

 7. If parents are dropping off their children at the venue, please use the drop off bays beside TP
    or alternatively they may come in the East Entrance, make a right turn into the car park.
8. As we will expect some congestion during the peak period in the morning, we appeal for your
    cooperation, patience and understanding.
  

Collection of Entry Packs

Entry packs can be collected from ST. Joseph's Institution at the general office from 18 Mar 2010 to 22 Mar 2010 from 0900h - 1700h. Only TIC or school's staff can collect the entry packs.

Online Registration
Proceed to http://sssc.schoolsports.sg to register. The closing date for online  registration will be extended to 4th March 2010. The race package which includes the number tags can be collected on 12th March 2010 at CCAB (12 noon - 5pm).

Walk - In Registration
The closing date for walk in registration will now be on 12th March 2010 instead. If you wish to submit your entries in person, please do so on 12th March 2010 at CCAB (12 noon - 5 pm). The registration form is available from the Registration & Entries link.

The meet will be held on 24th March 2010 at the Temasek Polytechnic / Bedok Reservoir course. The first race is expected to flag off at 0900H. The reserve session will be on the same afternoon.

A route briefing for teachers in charge was held on 2nd February 2010, 3.00pm at Temasek Polytechnic Stadium.
