Important Announcements on 07/04/2010:
** Note change in timing for all events on the Grand Finals Day, 16 April 2010 - all events brought forward by 1 hour 30 mins**

Day 4 results updated. Go to "Download (Restricted)" to download "SS2010 - Results (Day 1 to Day 4)". Congratulations to all prize winners!

- First event will begin at 11.00am (instead of 12.30pm), all other events will be brought forward.
- Schools may enter the venue (hall) from 10.00am onwards
- There will be NO trying of carpets on Grand Finals Day.
2) For schools that wish to try carpets:
- The only day for trying out of carpets is on 15 April, Thursday, one day before the Grand Finals, in the afternoon.
- Sign up on the Carpet Tryout Registration Form at the prize table to indicate your school's interest by Friday, 9 April 2010.
- Send a TEACHER from your school to attend a Balloting Session on 13 April 2010, Tuesday, 3pm at the stage of the hall.
- Each school may be allocated a maximum of 1-1.5 minutes per team per event to try out the carpets, at the discretion of the organiser, and in fairness for all competitors.
3) We seek the cooperation of all teachers for the following:
a) Buses: Pls request for your buses to wait for you away from the school's main gate (e.g. at Kallang McDonalds' Carpark) and to drive over only when you arrive at the main gate. This is to prevent traffic jams.
b) Use of Weapons during warmup: Kindly ensure that your students do NOT use their weapons during warmup in any part of the school compound, for safety reasons. All warmup with weapons should be done in your own school.
c) Time of Entry to the Hall: Pls adhere to the opening time of the hall to all competitiors - 12pm for Days 1-6 and 10am for Day 7 - Grand Finals Day.
d) Parking: Teachers who drive may now park in the school, subject to availability of parking lots, on a first-come-first-served basis.

A pre-event briefing on Safety and Security Instructions and Rules and Administrative Procedures for the Championships 2010 was conducted on 24 April 2010, at 3.30pm at Chung Cheng High School (Main).

National Inter-School Wushu Championships 2010 - Report 2

- Wushu Judging Workshop for Teachers in-charge
A Wushu Judging Workshop will be conducted for participating schools’ Wushu teachers in-charge by the Singapore Wushu Dragon and Lion Dance Federation on 15th March 2010, 0900 hrs, at Tao Nan School, Lecture Theatre.
- 2nd Briefing for Teachers-in-charge/ Collection of Number Tags
All participating schools are to send a teacher to a pre-competition briefing, and to collect their number tags and the competition schedule. The briefing and the collection will be held on

National Inter-School Wushu Championships 2010 - Report 1
- National Inter-School Wushu Championships 2010
The National Inter-School Wushu Championships will be held between 06/04/10 to 16/04/10, with the Finals on 16/04/10. The venue is at Chung Cheng High School (Main), School Hall.
- Deadline for Submission of Entry Form
Schools intending to participate in this year’s Championship are required to submit their entry forms by fax (63449686) to the National Convenor latest by 03/02/2010.
- Briefing for Wushu Teachers-in-charge
It is compulsory for all participating schools to send a teacher to attend a briefing for Wushu Teachers-in-charge of A, B & C Divisions. The briefing will be held at Chung Cheng High School (Main) Lecture Theatre 1 on 9 February 2010, Tuesday, 3 pm. Instructions of online registration will be given during the briefing.
NOTE:
Students in schools or institutions without a Wushu CCA, but who wish to take part in the competition must inform the HOD PE/CCA of your school to fax in the entry form. The entry form may be downloaded from the link below.
